DrumLock: Spend the Whole Session Practicing, Not Switching Apps
DrumLock is a drum practice app for Android. I built it because practice time kept going to the metronome app, the rudiment chart, the slow downer and the method book. DrumLock puts all of it in one routine. Press start and play straight through. No ads, no subscriptions, no account, works offline.

One Routine, Press Start
Build a routine from timed segments: a rudiment with its notation, a song section trimmed and looped at the speed you set, a photo of the page you are working from, the metronome under all of it. The app moves to the next segment on its own and logs the session when you stop.
Metronome for Drummers
40 to 300 BPM with sample-accurate timing, nine time signatures, subdivisions to 16ths, four click sounds, tap tempo, and a visual beat indicator.
Speed Trainer
Set a start tempo and a target. The tempo climbs on its own while you stay on the drums.
40 Essential Rudiments
All 40 PAS drum rudiments included free with notation. See the full list with stickings and practice notes at drumlock.com/rudiments.
A Practice Journal That Writes Itself
Every session logs automatically: what you worked on, for how long, and at what BPM. Rate each item 1 to 5, add a note, and review any past session. Streaks and totals keep you honest.
Free and Pro
The metronome, speed trainer, all 40 rudiments, the journal and one custom routine are free. Pro is the song slow downer and looper plus unlimited routines, $4.99 once.
